My plus sums

I am learning to do plus sums by counting on.

 

DAYS OF THE WEEK

I was practicing writing the days of the week in English and in Maori too.

 

Handwriting and Maths

I was practicing writing letter m. I also learnt how to use the number 5 frame and do addition sums to 5.

 

Letter m words

I was learning about the letter m. I drew pictures and wrote words that start with the letter m.

 

On the weekend

We packed our clothes, food and drinks and went camping.

 

Planting

Today I helped mum in the garden. We replanted our raspberry vines in the soil. 

 

All about me

Today I drew a picture of my family. I belong to a family. We come from South Africa. 

 

My home learning

 Today I wrote a story about my bunnies. We have two bunnies at our house. We love giving them carrots.For maths I was learning doubling. I wrote the sums for doubles to 10. I was practicing writing letter J for handwriting.

The butterfly

 

I see a butterfly fly up, up, up high. The butterfly has so many colours. It is pretty and has so many colours on its wings.

Letter H craft and our neighbourhood walk

Today I was learning about letter H. I crafted the horse for letter h.

We went on a walk around my neighbourhood for fitness today.  We saw the flowers get some sun and rain. We  saw the flowers grow.

 

Fitness to sound work out

I had so much fun doing exercises to the sounds. My sister Emily also did the exercises with me. My mum took a video of us doing our exercises and saying the sounds. 

 

I enjoyed drawing and writing my story at home. It was father's day yesterday. We gave a present to my dad.

 

Handwriting

I am doing my best to write my letters correctly. I take my time and I leave a finger space between each letter. Today I was learning how to form letter W correctly.

 

My special friend

 

I drew a picture and wrote a sentence about Milan my special friend. We played in the park. It was fun.

Maths how many

I was learning about how many. I was counting  and writing the number.

 

Math addition

I have been learning about plus sums to 10.  Look at my plus sums of 10.

 

Discovery time

 I like to draw pictures at home and in discovery time.

P.E

 We have been learning to move in different ways for P.E.
